When I decided to stay in Windsor for the summer, one of my biggest concerns was missing out on the Vancouver farmer’s markets. However, I’m happy to report that I’ve discovered the downtown Windsor farmer’s market. It’s very much like the Trout Lake market – minus beer-brined chicken sandwiches – and I’ve fallen in love.

Once Wednesday rolls around, I’m daydreaming about orange-glazed-croissants, perfect bunches of Tuscan kale, spicy “New Yorker” sausages, and cheese pies. Only one thing would make it better: Stella. I miss that girl. I’ll be seeing her in a month, and I could not be more excited.
