I had three of my last seven dinners at The Willistead. The food is on trend, local, and done well. And dessert is always on point.
I try to get something different whenever I’m there, but I can’t seem to stay away from their fried chicken sandwich – it’s crunchy and yummy and messy in the best way possible. It’s perfect with a side of fries + black truffle aioli. I also love their bone marrow (served alongside a giant pile of arugula dressed simply with lemon and sea salt), octopus, chocolate torte and peanut butter cheesecake.
And they do a lime daiquiri that is little, but not wimpy.
