One time, my friend Christina and I met up for after-work drinks then dinner. Drinks at Bambudda quickly turned into dinner because we decided that my Bubble Tea (with pink hibiscus bubbles), and her Madame Butterfly would taste much better with a side of crispy chicken, chicken crackling and crispy pork belly. We had a few more drinks and ate everything because everything was fried and just so yummy. Then we took a walk before heading over to Ask for Luigi for dinner.

At Ask for Luigi, there was an hour wait, so we took another walk. About five minutes into our walk, we got a call saying our table was actually ready. So we turned around, decided to pass on the wine, and ordered saffron risotto & clams and pappardelle with duck ragu.

We were so full we could hardly breathe, but I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
