Yesterday was my first time back at Chocolate Arts since Christmas. I had sort of forgotten about it with the opening of Beta5 Chocolates and Beaucoup Bakery, to be honest, but yesterday rekindled my love for it. And not 24 hours later, I found myself back there to pick up more semi-sweet chocolate milk, as well as two ice cream bars I wanted to try yesterday: Madagascar vanilla and raspberry, both dipped in dark chocolate. Raspberries are my favourite fruit (along with pineapple and mango), and they are just perfect with dark chocolate, so by default, raspberry ended up being my favourite of the two. It was so, so good! I especially liked that the ice cream sat on top of a ganache-like base as well as the dark chocolate itself, as it lent a richness without being overwhelmingly sweet.

I’ll need to run the seawall twice a day, everyday this week to make up for this.
