Recently, some friends told me about this puppy clothing brand called Milk & Pepper, based out of France (made at the Dolce & Gabbana factory, apparently). We found out that local grooming shop/pet boutique, The Pet Shop Boys, was carrying the line, so we obviously had to check it out. And today, since we were in the area, that’s exactly what we did.
The line is adorable: stylish belted jackets, cozy knit sweaters, and for the spring/summer, a collection of pink and purple t-shirts for girls, and nautical stripes for the boys. They don’t allow pictures inside the shop, but you can take a look at the entire collection here.
There was a great little red trench lined with the prettiest floral pattern, but unfortunately, we ran into a recurring problem: it would not fit around Stella’s neck. Stella looks little and puppy-like…but pictures don’t quite tell the whole story – she’s got a rather large neck and is very deep-chested. So the red trench was a bust, but we did pick up a little purple t-shirt with a polka-dotted bow.
When we got home I caught her just as she was getting ready to nap, so a rather half-hearted picture of her back is all you’ll get for now.
Oh, but I did manage to get a photo of some adorable dresses they had at the shop (before the guy caught me). I particularly like the one in the top middle: a black faux leather number with a tiered ruffled skirt and a pink & leopard belt.
