I recently read a book called this is a love story by Jessica Thompson. I’ll admit I grabbed it on a bit of whim and because its robin’s egg blue spine with white lettering was too pretty to leave on the shelf of that little bookstore. It was a really fun and easy read which is the kind of reading I like to do now that I’m no longer an aspiring lit major. (Not that there’s anything wrong with a little Salinger here and there) But anyway, this book is the story of Sienna and Nick (and is told from their alternating points of view) – two people who randomly meet, end up working together, and have no idea that each is in love with the other. Reminded me a little bit of One Day by David Nicholls. And it was perfect alongside a buttery, cheese croissant from the deli downstairs.
