My third and final year of school is slowly but surely coming to an end, and I’m reminded of how life is full of surprises – good and bad. I never imagined beginning my career in Toronto, and I never, ever imagined that Stella wouldn’t be around when I graduated. I don’t think I’ll ever stop missing her, and it might actually be a good thing that I’m not headed home to Vancouver yet – everything about the city reminds me of her. I still see her sitting on those bright green chairs outside Thomas Haas patiently awaiting her pull-apart.
