Windsor has a unique way of doing things (driving, parking, spring – it’s currently snowing) and sometimes it’s a little questionable. But one thing I never ever question is its take on the “cronut”. Blak’s Bakery in Windsor literally takes a whole croissant, deep fries it and then douses it in a sweet orange glaze.

It’s basically two of my favourite things – Krispy Kremes and croissants – all rolled into one, and after trying it for the first time at the farmer’s market last summer, I just have not been able to get enough.

The only thing better than a cronut is a whole box of them.
