Kittens in Windsor

So a lot has happened since coming back to Windsor for the school year, but first, my cats. In this random park/field/protected area right on the river next to my apartment, there is a cat colony – a bunch of strays and now, their little babies.

I’m particularly fond of this one cat we call Mittens (she’s grey with white paws) who is kind of halfway between a kitten and a teen. I think she’s beautiful with lots of character, and I love her. When I go over there to feed them, she’s always the first one out, weaving in and out of my legs, waiting to sample every plate I put out, even though we all know chicken is her favourite.

Long story short, I’m in love with Mittens and her friends, and I don’t know how I’m going to say goodbye to them when I have to leave Windsor permanently.
