My two weeks at home has been amazing, and sadly, it comes to an end today. I’m getting on a plane tonight (unless Mother Nature has other plans), headed back to snow and school. I just wish I could pack my little bug in a suitcase and take her with me.
The weekend has been beautiful, so we spent it doing more of what I love most: eating and taking walks with the family. Kits was gorgeous on Friday, so after waffles for breakfast, we walked along the water toward the west end.
I made time for zeppole and breakfast bruschetta at Giovane – toasted focaccia + grape tomatoes + poached eggs – and a raspberry tart at Faubourg, with some of my favourites.
And today, almond & peach croissants and kouign amann at Beta5 Chocolates.
Bye for now, Vancouver.
