Rocky Point Ice Cream has been undergoing renovations for awhile, and had a little Scooper truck going in the meantime. Unfortunately, the truck was never around when we were, so you can imagine how happy we are that the renovations are finally over and the little shop finally open, scooping cones in myriad  hand-crafted flavours like maple bacon and blackberry-sage, and even a K9 Doggie Ice Cream – vanilla base + kibble. Ever since I was little, I’d been getting a vanilla cone, but this time, decided to switch it up with oatmeal brown sugar. My mom tried Mexican chocolate, which was rich with just a hint of chili, and my brother had a classic favourite, maple walnut. Every bit as good as I remembered.
