On the last day of Adam’s visit a couple weeks ago, we worked up an appetite wandering through the Royal Ontario Museum’s many, many exhibits. So we headed over to the Museum Tavern across the street for lunch.

Museum Tavern is beautiful American-style bistro with a black and white checkerboard floor and an amazing cheeseburger. Two patties, American cheese and greasy in the best way possible.

The apple crumble was on point, and according to Adam, the beer was delicious. And I tasted (and enjoyed) elk for the first time.

Done well, there isn’t anything quite like American comfort food.
