We recently discovered that Windsor was one of the few test sites for KFC’s Nashville Hot Chicken (Kelowna, BC is the other Canadian test city). So we obviously had to try it. We were studying at a little coffee shop by the school, warm and cozy with our little pots of blueberry tea, but we decided to leave that all behind to walk over to a nearby KFC. We could not resist the call of the Nashville Hot Chicken.

The chicken was good – super crunchy and spicy enough to make my nose run – but we agreed that we were still partial to the original stuff. It was definitely something worth trying once, but not something that I’d regularly crave. It’s kind of like Thomas Haas’ Mayan hot chocolate – spicy and novel and yummy, but never quite beats the original.
