Some friends and I had dinner at Phnom Penh last night, a Vietnamese-Cambodian restaurant right in Chinatown that does some amazing chicken wings that, in my opinion, are rivaled only by Pok Pok’s in Portland. Phnom Penh’s are highly addictive and simultaneously sweet, salty, spicy, garlicky and crunchy. You’ll have to wait awhile for a table; they are almost always insanely busy, but it’ll be worth it, I promise.
We capped off the night at La Casa Gelato for, you guessed it, gelato. And cannoli.
